Many people may not know that Denise grew up on a farm near Hastings, Iowa, in the Nishnabotna River Bottom and Willow Slough area. Southwest Iowa has always been home, and she is proud of her local roots. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy and Horticulture from Northwest Missouri State University, providing a strong agricultural foundation that has served her throughout her career.

Some may recognize Denise from her many years with the Natural Resources Conservation Service. After she and her husband, Dan, purchased the firm, she began a new chapter in her career. While some people might find it unusual for a husband and wife to work together every day, their partnership succeeds because each brings different strengths and talents to the business.

Denise is licensed in Life and Health Insurance in Iowa, Nebraska, and Missouri. She primarily focuses on Medicare education, helping clients understand their options so they can make informed decisions with confidence. In addition to Medicare sales and ongoing service, Denise also assists clients with life insurance and long term care planning, providing personalized support before, during, and after enrollment.

Outside of work, Denise enjoys finding time for a healthy work-life balance—something she admits can be a challenge. She loves spoiling her grandchildren, riding bikes, exploring the trails on a UTV or ATV, planting flowers, and watching birds. One of her favorite ways to unwind is simply sitting outside with a cold beer and enjoying the outdoors.
